Morzine Ski Holidays
Morzine is located in the amazing Portes du Soleil area just an hour and a half from Geneva so good for short transfers. You will find that Morzine is a long established resort that has a traditional atmosphere and all round good vibe. Restaurants and bars line the streets up to the lifts and accommodation is widely scattered throughout the area.

Morzine Skiing and Boarding
On one side of the village the skiing leads over to Les Gets and there are good runs on the Nyon sector. The other side of the village has the Super Morzine gondola that whisks you up giving access to Avoriaz and 650Km of piste that the Portes du Soleil circuit offers. The slopes around the Super Morzine lift are best for beginners or those that are more adventurous could ski at Pleney. Intermediates will just love the area as there is a huge amount that they can do from challenging reds to black runs on Chamossiere. More advanced skiers can ski the Hauts Forts blacks on up on the Avoriaz side. The off piste options are huge and varied, as always we recommend taking a guide to explore the area at its best. Morzine is a popular resort with snowboarders because of its extensive slopes. The best board parks in the area are over in the neighbouring resort of Avoriaz. However, there are plenty of tree lined runs in Morzine for interesting and scenic boarding but definitely hire a guide and head for the off piste. Cross country skiers have 59 miles of trails.

Morzine Apres Ski
The nightlife in Morzine is good as there are quite a variety of bars all centred close to the tourist office with something for everyone. Dixie’s has sport, MTV, a cellar bar and live music. The Coyote has games and a DJ and our favourite is the Boudha cafe for chilling out in after skiing. There are also a couple of late night options such as L’Opera and Laury’s. Off the slopes there is an excellent ice rink where you can see ice hockey matches. There are plenty of walks and the market visits once a week.
