Les Deux Alpes Ski Holidays

Les Deux Alpes is set up high in the Dauphine region of the Southern Alps. It has a vast area and is one of France’s oldest and most prestigious resorts. Les Deux Alpes Skiing and Boarding

Les Deux Alpes is a fantastic resort for beginners. They will ski on the nursery slopes that are just beside the village before progressing up to the glacier which has a good variety of easy slopes. Intermediates are spoilt for choice with the 225Km of piste. The chairlifts on the glacier provide great carving piste and many people take the day trip to Alpe D’Huez. Off piste is the main attraction for more advanced skiers. There are some serious routes that end up outside the lift network. If conditions are right, hire a guide and take on the challenges that La Grave has to offer. Les Deux Alpes has become a mecca for snowboarders over the years with the main focus on the terrain park. There is also plenty of freeriding with steep challenging terrain. Cross country skiers will enjoy the 12 miles of trails in Venosc that is reached by gondola.

Les Deux Alpes Apres Ski

Après ski in Les Deux Alpes offers a lively variety of bars such as Smithy’s Tavern or the smaller quieter Pub Le Windsor. The Avalanche is the main nightclub at the Venosc end of town. Off the slopes you can take a scenic helicopter ride to Alpe D’Huez or explore the pretty village of Venosc by gondola. There are plenty of walks and there is a pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub in the Aqua Centre.
