La Rosiere Ski Holidays
La Rosiere is set up high above the Tarentaise valley on the route of the Petit St Bernard Pass. Ski chalets, apartments and hotels are all available to book for those perfect La Rosiere ski holidays. It is an attractive, friendly and purpose built resort with fantastic views. The resort has been built in a traditional chalet style and has a lovely atmosphere as it is quieter than its neighbouring mega resorts.

La Rosiere and La Thuile share a large area of slopes called Espace San Bernardo so offer a good sized amount of skiing. Beginners will progress quickly on the green runs by the Clarines and Lievre Blanc lifts. The lovely wide blue pistes just above the village are perfect for getting the hang of skiing. Intermediates can ski up to the Petit Saint Bernard Pass and the area around La Belvedere where there are some good reds. Ski down the 11Km run to La Thuile in Italy for a pizza or pasta before taking the chairlift back to France in the afternoon. Advanced skiers will find the steepest terrain on the Marcassin black and down the Ecudents. There is also a freeride area and some off piste areas between the pistes. If you really want to go for it then pop over to Italy and go heli skiing for the day! Snowboarders will enjoy the fact that there are lots of chairlifts making for easy uplift and the freeride area is fun aswell. There are 14Km of cross country trails near the altiport.
La Rosiere Apres Ski
Après ski in La Rosiere is very relaxed and limited to a couple of bars in the village. The bars sometimes have live music. Off the slopes there are plenty of walks, scenic flights and a cinema. You could also try paragliding, dog sledding and snowshoeing for something different.
