La Plagne, France
La Plagne Ski Holidays
La Plagne is situated high up in the Savoie French Alps and is made up of ten separate villages. It is one of the most varied and exciting high altitude ski areas in the world. Each of the villages is virtually self contained with their own shops, restaurants, ski schools and children’s villages. They all have direct access to the slopes and are well connected with gondolas or bus services.

La Plagne Skiing and Boarding
The Vanoise Express links la Plagne to Les Arcs so that you have a massive 425Km of piste to play with. However, there is certainly plenty to ski in the La Plagne area. Beginners will enjoy the gentle nursery slopes that are located near all the properties. Intermediates will just love La Plagne as there is plenty of variety from fantastic motorway runs to quiet powder runs through the trees. Ski up on the Glacier de Bellecote or try the long run from Champagny. Expert skiers will relish in the challenges set out before them. Try the steep and bumpy black runs from Bellecote or the seriously steep Coqs and Morbleu blacks for fun. If you are an expert skier you must hire a guide and explore the vast off piste potential that is there waiting for you as it is just awesome. Snowboarders will also be happy in La Plagne as there is something for everyone. There are also plenty of terrain parks with the snowpark above Plagne centre being one of the better parks in France. For cross country skiers there are 80Km of trails with some lovely trails round Champagny-le-Haut.

La Plagne Apres Ski
There are plenty of bars catering for a mostly younger crowd but again something for everyone in all the resorts. Off the slopes there are sports and fitness facilities, winter walks, an ice grotto and even a bobsleigh run. For a real adrenalin rush you can take a solo bobsleigh run!
La Plagne Childcare
Childcare can be added in some of the chalets as part of the package in the resorts of Belle Plagne and Plagne Centre. Chalet Rose and the Hotel Terra Nova offer childcare. Alternatively you can book your own childcare directly:
