Childcare

Skiing as a family is a fantastic experience and great fun too.  This operators market-leading childcare is something they are immensely proud of and with 30 years experience, they have thought of everything. So you can take time out and hit the slopes knowing your children, whether skiers or non-skiers (from 4months to 12 years) are in safe hands and having fun. 

Crèches

They have creches in 9 of their chalethotels, all of which are bright, colourful and warm and filled with plenty of games and toys to keep our younger guests entertained.  They are fully equipped with essentials such as cots for daytime naps, potties, bottle sterilisers and fridges. There are also 24-hour kitchen facilities for parents needing to make up night and early morning bottles. All the creches are fully staffed with British nannies - all of whom are top notch and hold either an NNEB, DCE, NVQ qualification, or have at least 2 years' relevant childcare experience.

The crèches open at 9am daily allowing you to join the ski host groups or just get out on to the slopes early. For children that are booked into this operators childcare and who are also booked into ski school - then the nannies will escort the children to ski school and collect them after their lesson. The nannies will ensure all children are happy and settled into their class before leaving and will return to collect them for lunch or tea depending on ski school schedule. At the end of the day it's back to the chalethotel for tea. Please note that the nannies can drop/collect children at alternative ski schools to those recommended by the operator as long as the schools are running on similar times (not the Berangere or Tarentaise)

Our British nannies are all top notch and hold either an NNEB, DCE, NVQ or equivalent qualification, or at least 2 years' relevant childcare experience.

 Evening Drop-In Creche

We run a FREE evening "drop-in" crèche for children from 4months to 12 years, which is available every evening from 7.30pm to 11pm (closed on Sundays).  Simply drop your children off at the crèche, where our nannies will provide storytime, dvd showing and quiet games leaving you to dine in the restaurant at your leisure. 

Ski School

Whichever resort you choose, we offer excellent ski schools for children.  We have selected schools with great care, choosing friendly English-speaking instructors who have years of experience working with children.

Ski schools take children from 4yrs upwards and class sizes are never more than 10 (often smaller).  We have reserved places in our recommended schools but spaces are limited, so please book early.

In La Plagne we have teamed up with Oxygène Ski School (recent winners of Best European Ski School) and offer a special "Snowman" Kindergarten, which takes children from 3yrs - a perfect start for the younger children.

Baby Club

4 to 11 months

The Baby Club provides a warm, homely and secure environment for your baby. They provide one nanny to two babies to ensure that your baby settles quickly and is contented. Your baby's day is organised to fit in with your routine of sleep and feeding times that you follow at home.

Toddler Club

1 to 2 years inclusive

TheToddler Club is perfectly set up for this most inquisitive and lively minded age group. Throughout the day the nannies have a busy programme of games, stories, music and art to keep toddlers amused and stimulated.  Weather permitting, there are buggy outings and snow play. Where possible your child will have the same nanny all week and we try our best to keep to your child's normal daily routine.

Mini Club

3 to 5 years inclusive

The Mini Club is fun, fun, fun! Outdoors we enjoy sledging to snowman building along with exciting cable car rides - often with a hot chocolate stop on the way up or down the mountain. The action continues indoors with a fun programme of activities including arts and crafts, face painting and games. If your child is booked into ski school for half the day, then our nannies will drop off and collect children for you.

Kidz Club

6 - 12 years

In the Kidz Club it's all about action, with the emphasis on having fun in the snow. And if your children are skiers, they're still welcome to join in. Our nannies will escort them to and from ski school leaving you to ski for the whole day. For non-skiers there's a packed programme of entertainment from sledging to making snow sculptures, face painting, crafts, games and treasure hunts. Our energetic nannies also supervise excursions such as bowling and ice skating for which there's a small extra charge.
