Chamrousse Ski Holidays

Chamrousse remains one of those relatively unknows destinations to UK skiers and boarders. However, it has a short transfer time of just an hour and a half from Grenoble which makes it a good choice for families. The beautiful setting and a variety of skiing and boarding along with the spcial offer of a FREE lift pass make Chamrousse an excellent choice for your ski holiday.

Chamrousse Skiing and Snowboarding

Chamrousse is a resortbest suited to beginners and intermediates as there are only a few difficult runs. For beginners there is a really good learners area on the Arselle plateau. There are about 24 easy runs for beginners and early intermediates to play on. Intermediates will find the more challenging runs up above the tree line where there are some lovely long red's to get the legs going. More advanced skiers and boarders will find the Olympic black run from Croix de Chamrousse at the edge of the area a challenge. For snowboarders there is also a snowboard park and boardercross.

Chamrousse Apres Ski

Apres ski in Chamrousse is mainly found on the sunny terraces or in the cosy cafes when it is snowing. Off the slopes there is ice skating, paragliding, a cinema, snow shoeing and a climbing wall. As the properties are mainly self catered in Chamrousse you will find that the restaurants are good value for dining in the evening.

There is a Piou Piou childrens club with the ESF where they will take children aged 3-5yrs.
