Bled Ski Holidays
Bled is located on a beautiful lakeside resort and is ideal for both skiers and non-skiers. The resort is surrounded by the stunning Julian Alps in the North-West of Slovenia. The main ski areas of Kobla and Vogel are about half an hour’s bus ride away and the area of Straza is reached by chairlift.
Bled Skiing and Boarding
Bled is very much a beginners resort as there are 13 easy runs, 8 intermediate and 7 difficult runs. Vogel is the place to start out as there are superb wide open runs to be found on the plateau. Intermediates will find that the region is good to improve your confidence. There is some lovely skiing and boarding through the trees in both Kobla and Vogel. The best run for more advanced skiers and boarders is the 8.5Km run over the back of Vogel.
Bled Apres Ski
Apres ski in Bled is concentrated around the centre as well as the older part of Bled where you will find an Irish bar, Pri Planincu and the Devils bar. Off the slopes there is an ice skating rink and cleared pathways around the lake for walking. There are also sleigh rides which will be stunning. If you are feeling lucky you could also try the casino. Day trips can be taken to the capital of Ljubjana and the Postojna caves.
Bled is a fantastic resort for children and we have special offers in the Hotel Savica where children can stay free when sharing with 2 adults. There are also three children’s playrooms in the hotel and an entertainment program.
